General Features

The 2011 Infiniti M56X in NJ is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 that produces 420 hp and 417 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but the M56x features all-wheel drive. A seven-speed automatic transmission is standard and includes manual override shift paddles and four different shift modes (Standard, Sport, Snow or Eco). EPA-estimated fuel economy is 16 mpg city/25 mpg highway, while the M56x achieves 16/23.

Because the 2011 M56x has only one trim (the Premium package comes standard), there are four optional packages to choose from: Deluxe Touring, Sport, Sport Touring and Technology.  Inside the M56x, high-quality materials mesh with a luxurious design that ripples with purpose.  Dual zone climate control, 10-way heated power driver’s and front-passenger’s seats, leather-appointed interior with Japanese Ash wood trim, USB/iPod/Bluetooth connectivity, backup camera, updated navigation system with 8-inch touch-screen display, Lane Guidance and 3-D building graphics and XM NavTraffic with real-time traffic information come standard.

The standard Premium package also takes your audio experience to the next level with a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system, 9.3GB Music Box hard drive and in-dash DVD player.

Interior design

There isn’t enough room for rear seat passengers which is been a major part in other luxury sedans. Interior design is of high quality with full fledged wood trim and other quality interior materials. To be precise, if at all Infiniti has worked on the leg room space at the rear, it is definitely comparable with its luxury competitors.

Infiniti is always well known for its audio control and navigation systems. This model is been refined for the multidirectional knob without losing any of its functions. 3D maps are stored on the inbuilt hard drive and this means that there is no loading time.

The navigation system automatically displays alternate routes. A new feature like the Forest Air varies the speed of air conditioning fan. Main aim of this feature is to produce a forest breeze rather than the traditional air conditioning system which produce a steady wind. Infiniti is not left out without the advanced Bluetooth phone system. The system supports voice command but you have to call out specific instructions like Phone, Phone book before you call out the name.

Performance

Performance was over the top. At 4,200 pounds, a 420 hp/417 lb-ft torque, direct-injected V-8 under the hood should be a good time.

Safety Features

The 2011 Infiniti M56X in NJ comes standard with antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags and active head restraints. Included in the Technology package are a lane departure warning and prevention system, blind-spot warning system and a forward collision warning system with intelligent brake assist.
